Finding a cheap and good VPS provider is a hard task in its self. There were plenty of options, but they all had mixed reviews. Now for the price under $20, you get what you pay for. You think a $50 media temple plan would top what we found, but I beg to differ (I have had no experience with them so I am going on purely the knowledge that they are one of the best in the business). We found a small host that goes by the name of Fivebean, which offered dirt cheap plans. One was at $6 a month. Now there has to be a catch? Well there is none, as far as we can tell.
I can’t really comment on performance, but they are fast. I don’t have a comparison to compare them to, but they are faster that the last VS provider I used. (I don’t want to give a name because I don’t want to piss anybody off) When I signed up, everything was online within 2 minutes. Really. Credit Card processing took maybe 20 seconds, and VPS deployment took 52 seconds. Now that doesn’t really merit for a good host, but it gives a nice and warm fuzzy feeling.
Now, to the most important aspect of a webhost. Support. The support at Fivebean is just great. They just don’t give you a standard response, but they send you a personalized response. And they care about you as a customer. They will try and help you with your support question, and make your overall hosting experience a great one. Overall, they make you feel at hope. Best support ever. A++.
Overall, I am more than satisfied with Fivebean. I would recommend them over anybody for VPS. They are truly amazing, and the short time we have been with them, I have been blown away with their service.
